Taylor Ernst

Articling Student

Taylor graduated with her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2026. Prior to attending law school, Taylor obtained her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Medical Sciences from Dalhousie University and her Master of Arts in Bioethics and Medical Humanities from Case Western Reserve University.
Born and raised in Calgary, Taylor has also called Penticton, Halifax, Cleveland, and Saskatoon home. While these experiences allowed her to connect with individuals and communities across North America, Calgary has always remained home.
Advocacy and service have been central to Taylor’s life from a young age. She began volunteering with the MEOW Foundation at just seven years old, sparking a lifelong commitment to giving back to her community. No matter where she has lived, Taylor has always believed in becoming involved and contributing to the community around her, regardless of how long she calls it home. Throughout law school, she continued this commitment through her work with Pro Bono Students Canada, Legal Follies, and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers. In recognition of her commitment to community service, Taylor was honoured with the Global Citizen Award while completing her graduate studies.
For Taylor, advocacy has always been about standing beside others and helping them navigate complex and often deeply personal challenges. That lifelong commitment to supporting others naturally led her to pursue a career in family law, where she is dedicated to providing compassionate, thoughtful, and effective representation for her clients.
Outside of the office, Taylor enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, snuggling with her furbabies, trying new restaurants, traveling, supporting the arts, and unwinding with a good book or a reality show.
